Subject: In Defense Of EANx 80 For Deco

I use EANx 80 for deco instead of 100% O2 for 2 reasons:

The total CNS% for a long/deep dive can easily reach or exceed 100%.  By
using EANx 80 instead of 100% O2 for deco, the total CNS% will drop
dramatically, and at the same time, it will add only a few additional
minutes to your overall deco time in most cases.

It is much easier to get a full fill to 3000 p.s.i. for your deco bottle
from O2 banks(unless of course you have a booster pump, which most of us
don't).
