Your recollection is faulty. If this was the case, how do they rescue off 
of broken down boats?

Irrelevent. You don't leave divers in the water. OK, Mr. know-it-all. If 
it was YOUR butt left hanging, you would have no problems with this, hay? 
Think about it. There you are, 20' under and the whine of the props fade 
into the distance. You start feeling a little dizzy. A bit of nausea 
starts creeping up your gut. Geee, it's awful quite out here, all alone. 
I can't wait for my next dive to volunteer to be left behind... Is that 
an air leak I hear? Man, I think those breakfast burritos are starting to 
stir... Wonder if they remembered I'm out here... But I'm prepared, I 
have my snorkle!
