Subject: Orca stance on guage mode (fwd)

I took the liberty of forewarding the thread regarding reported problems
with the Cochran computers to a representative of Orca. Since I own a
Phoenix, I posed the question to Orca "Under what circumstances will the
Phoenix go into gauge mode?". The complete text of their response
follows.
