The divers supply Sea Elite, Dive Rite, and ScubaPro modular pieces
parts are all the same gear - just slightly different finishes and
different branding, but they're all made by the same manufacturer in ( I
think ) Italy.

Some on this list would argue that a Y-valve would be a more properly
hogarthian solution, onaccounta there're fewer failure points. While I
agree with that, I've got the modular valve comonentry on all of my
tanks - so I can go from single 1st stage for poop dives, to double
first stages when it matters, or to manifolded doubles when it matters
more. And with everything interchangeable, I never have a spare parts
incompatibility problem.
