Marc, we went both ways in the new tunnel which started at what was
considered the limit of exploration on a single stage from the entrance.
The previous group got to where we started on a tripple stage and hit
turn on their back gas - they are the ones who want the rebreahters -
gee, I wonder why. Gavin sugested that they all buy a pair of running
shoes. The cave was huge, and white, and was Gavin's last cave dive, and
one of the most spectacular finds we ever made. He was supposed to dive
with us for the ceremonial smoking of B Tunnel, the other one that was
claimed to be not explorable further without a rebreather, and Fitz put
his bottles in, but he had to cancel at the last minute, so JJ, Casey
and I place the Aunt Jemima, and added 1800 feet in one dive ( our first
in the tunnel), on one third the gas used by the previous guys in about
the same amount of time on slower scooters. Oh well.
