garry, sorry, but that dog just don't hunt. the light cord changes nothing. even if it is on top, they are going in opposite directions. how can the light cord go with the reg. i would have to take the long hose out of my mouth, and purposefully twist the light cord and it together to make this happen. the light cord cannot magically thread its way under the long hose around my neck. if you had any clue whatsoever as to how we dive, you wouldn;t create such absolutely pathetic scenarios. george creates REAL scenarios that we have answers for. ask bill mee. he will give you the answers to those. it is no big deal. the reg gets passed, teh donor picks up his backup under his chin. where is the panic? where is the oblivious? how has this shortened the available hose that i am passing? whose buoyancy just crapped out? you have obvioulsy not thought this all the way through or have ever passed off a regulator. this is not a problem for pros. you may have a problem with it, but not pros. when we have problems, nobody panics. everything is handled efficiently and methodically. nobody's pulse goes above 60 and nobody's bp goes up. the breathing rate remains at a semi-comatose level. until you have seen this first hand, you need to stick to croquet or shuffleboard. garry, have you signed up for wakulla2? i think they need a self-proclaimed diving expert like you. garry said >Guy with long hose looks up to see frantic buddy.
