Could someone explain to me the pros and cons of different harness configurations. I have read everything I can find on the net about this including the Hogarthian method, hoever I am curious as to the reasons behind the different techniques. I currently have the harness cross behind my shoulders and I still have the quick release clip in place. I plan to dive with this configuration a number of times, then buy my 12' of webbing and lace it with no shoulder-cross and no quick release (straight down on both sides). After diving with both I will decide not only which to use, but why I want to. I don't want to jump right into a certain method because others say it is the best.
