This one comment tells me that you don't know enough to comment on this
issue.
Speaking as a diver, there is absolutely no "standard" of any type for
marking tanks filled with breathing gas.
Speaking as a General Contractor, there is no "standard" of any type for
marking tanks filled with O2.
There are no standards for "O2 cleaning" in diving, and there are no
standards for 02 use in welding.
In all four cases, there are many, many pretenders to the throne, there
are many agencies who claim they have a standard, and that their standard
is the One True Standard.
The result is several, conflicting standards, which is to say, no
standard at all. In fact, conflicting standards are WORSE than no
standard, because they leave the false illusion of the safety a standard
creates.
Don't talk about maturity, Tim, it makes you look even worse than your
lack of knowledge.
If you remain silent, people will attribute a lot more knowledge to you
than you deserve.
It really is your best choice.
