Subject: Re: Burst Disks/dot
the main and only purpose of a burst disk is to prevent
tank failure when there is NO regulator on the tank,,,
like maybe when the tank is is your trunk, after you gave it " a pinch more
air"
sitting in the sun for most of the day....get it????

anyway on the metal fatigue issue you are correct and also more correct than
you realize,,because the design/thickness/material/ size of the burst disk
are on the very limit of failure,,,good solid engineering on this as the
""""FUSE""" must blow
to protect the circuit....if you "overfill" your tank ,,you put the disk into
premature failure through overstressing the .011 thick copper ,1/2 hard
,specification.

AHHHHHHH<<<>>> to disk,,,or,,,not to disk......
that mr. peabody is the question

tanks,,,butt no tanks,,,i got me a breather
