Joel,
I got the (original) software
I got the (original) cable
and I have two lovely daughters that managed to separate the pins from
the cable ..........
For me $130 it not the world but because Uwatec is refusing to sell
the cable as a replacable item it is the sport to see if I can make it
myself.

Why not just buy the cable and software? Last time I looked (which was
some time ago), it was only $130.
