Hi Guys,


Well, I=92ve been on this list for awhile, and I haven=92t seen a FAQ
reference yet. So I figure it=92s OK to ask a question which might have
been covered before on this list.

So here goes (from a non-diving guy, but I=92m interested in U/W welding)=

:

I=92ve heard terms like "cave-diving", "wreck-diving", "deep-sea diving",=

"tech-diving", "stroke-diving", etc...

Also, I=92ve heard of "Muff-Diving". What is this ? Are some of you divin=
g
for "muffs" (whatever those are - and are they an endangered species ?).
Or is it a variation of tank mixes ? Could it be possibly a description
of the equipment used during a dive ? Maybe it describes underwater
searches for sunken automobile exhaust parts ? Are some of you diving on
"muff" ? =


I=92m quite baffled by this terminology. Can anyone flamelessly shed some=

light on this "new category" ?
