Steve, there are 200 targets on the side scan sonar in front of
Ft.Lauderdale proper, in an eight mile stretch that are inidentified as
yet. There are some fifty "artificials" as well. Our bogies are not WW2,
they are Drug War, Insurance Fraud , and some oldies maybe. Most are too
deep to be easy to hit in the current, and the only the private boats
have good enough sounders to see them. Most of us hjust fish them, as in
rod and reel, or drift over them to see what is there.

 Ft Lauderdale "wreck" diving is really just diving around wrecks in
beutiful blue , warm water . We dive year round, have deep water one
mile from the beach, and the Bahama Banks and wqalls 45 miles away. With
caves everywehre as well, the amoung of time we can spend diving makes
for easy development.
