John's boat is good and supplies trimix. He also has a supply of 12 litre DIN adaptable tanks and ready-manifolded 12's. His boat is a liveaboard, which means that you can stopover wherever you want if you want to go farther afield. Two weeks ago, a large group of us went up and hired two boats, John's and a non-liveaboard M.S. Adlergrund, run by keith Thompson (01856 831 372). I was on Keith's boat, staying in the Ferry Inn, Stromness, which was excellent. Keith is pretty quiet, but an excellent skipper, and we had a great week. Keith only has A-clamp 12's, but I had my own DIN doubles which I took with me. John can pump to 300 Bar, Keith can pump to 240, which initially I thought was going to be a pain, as I have 300 Bar tanks, but I never surfaced with less than 90. Keith only does Nitrox.
