Heh. I got that invite, but I've been around long enough to glance at
some old messages to get the local 'color' first and decided I had
better things to do. (He gets ever so slightly wiser with age,
someone mutters, who'da thunk it?) I already know about the delicate
wit and subtlety of usenet 'culture'....
As one of the newbies, I'd like to second that request. On some
mailing lists, that would make sense. It's just plain nuts here.
Or is it some sort of required initiation ritual, a textual
bloodletting which substitutes for the real thing? :-)
