Subject: fsw --> psi
Having an argument with dive shop wizard:

What is the ratio of fsw to psi?

According to the NOAA manual it is .445, and ffw = .432.

One additional question: Testing a depth measuring devices in a pressure
pot, it shouldn't matter if the 2" of water the unit is submerged in is in
fresh water, correct? (Except units that detect this) For example, if I
take my depth gauge down to 89PSI, and assuming these things read in FSW,
it should read 200fsw, correct?

More specifically, are the uwatec bottom timers calibrated for fresh or sea
water? What about other computer models and manufactures?
