Lot of flooded silver mines in Lake Powell. They are a real rush. Since some
still contain silver, don't expect any help finding them. Suggest starting at
some local museums, eg Page, Kayenta and Fredonia. The diving is fairly
technical. Several PADI divemasters had their last dive looking for silver.
I'll be vacationing in Lake Powell next week, and am looking for information
on any caves or good dives sites in the lake. I've heard rumors of small towns
that were flooded when the dam was built, and would appreciate any useful
info on their location and depth.
