For the record. I was very conscience of the fact I was using "I was told". It was because of this fact I asked the question to the list. Although many of the people don't agree here, there is a wealth of knowledge. Personally I don't know any industrial gas people, hell I don't think I know a welder. :-) Thanks for the info! Art Go to your local small engineers that have been using o2 for years and ask or watch them in their use of the gas, ask them about any problems that they have had, all the o2 problems that i am aware of have occured through mishandling of gear, the o2 is blamed because it is there, a bit like the diving incident were the gas is blamed and the fact that the diver was useless is missed. I have a 16 cylinder quad of o2 outside the house at the moment, on it in big letters is written "NON INFLAMMABLE GAS"! Your comments all start with "I was told".If you really want to know the truth then ask the people who know and not the ones trying to make a buck out of it, that means the real industry not the recreational servers.
