I need a "staged" decompression profile for a saturation exposure at 50 fsw on either air or 10 / 90 Nitrox. This is for a science project that intends to place two mice at 50 fsw for 24 hrs. Housing is built and needs one final test which will be completed in the next couple of weeks. Project will be conducted this summer. Seamless deco profiles will not work because of logistics - the housing must be raised in stages and tended by divers throughout the decompression phase. I can not use standard programs such as Abyss and Decom because of probable reciprocity failure beyond certain limits of exposure and most presently used saturation decompression profiles are either seamless or require many logistically undesirable gas switches. I prefer to keep O2 exposure to a minimum because of the higher metabolism rate of the subjects (possible greater susceptability to O2 tox & O2 radical damage) so air or bottom mix is desirable for deeper stops. I am hoping that someone with commercial experience may have access to such a schedule or one adaptable to this application. Any help or suggestions appreciated.
