I here all this talk about the USDCT and Wakulla 2, but I hope = everyone understands what this means. While W2 is diving, the work that = the WKPP has been doing will be interupted at what will be the height of = activity. We have only made a few dives in Wakulla this year and look at = what has be done. The WKPP is just getting started and when we get on a = role, we will have to take the time and dives to remove all our = equipment to let those other guys dive. They may not care for this area = or the work we are doing, but we care very dearly. The WKPP has always = tried to open the eyes of the public and state and federal agencys as to = the importance of our ground water resources. I have heard no such = claims or work from the USDCT. Wakulla is a State Park and Permits should be allowed to be = accepted, but at what cost? I really do not believe the USDCT can do = what they claim they can. I do not say this out of spite for them. The = WKPP has been working together for years now to be able to do the dives = we do. To think that someone can pull up to the dive site and catch up = on the things that it has taken the WKPP years of hard work and = dedication to do, are just fooling themselves and YOU. Myself and every = member of the WKPP has dedicated a lot of time, energy, and hard work = into this project and this area. To see all this put aside to allow the = Goof Troop to dive is a shame and a waste for everyone involved. Barry -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
