Its easy Jammer. Just pick a shop and work your way up to DM. Yes
I said work (and pay!) Then find an instructor that will let someone
like you around students. All 12 major shops in the greater Seattle area
let DMs fill their own tanks for free. Just leave the Hascal on for a
few seconds longer and then bleed the pressure from the whip and guage 
back into the banks after you turn off your tank valve. Nothing to it
and you will learn a lot about diving if you hook up with a crufty
old instructor. You know the ones I mean, they think they are responsible
for the students untill they get some training and experience. :-)
