A friend of mine (who doesn't dive) with a very keen interest in underground communications and lots of electronic expertise suggested the possibility of a cave-diving communication system. It seems it would have considerable merit in solo pushes...anyone know of other similar systems/applications? >What I have in mind would provide 2-way communication between a >diving base and free-swimming divers several kilometres from the > base, and would provide communication between the divers for >several hundred metres. Any comments...anyone interested in helping with development/testing? Cheers! Pat Shaw [dps@mi*.bc*.ca*]
