Ouch!  No, actually I was thinking more in terms of using one for the EMT
shears I use as my primary cutting implement.

The only diver I know who uses one of these retractors uses it to keep
his inflator hose snug and in place.  I do the same job with a short bit
of surgical tubing and finds it does an eminently adequate job.
