Subject: RE: Anker's Hose Problem

I would have ordered the DS4 first stage if I had known (turrets do =
nothing for me). Now I'm stuck with it and already have more regulators =
than I need: The Tech 50D, a Poseidon and a ProSub. My preferred doubles =
setup is to have the Poseidon as the one I breathe (pretty impossible to =
clean when fouled) and the Zeagle as the alternate, and then use the =
ProSub as a stage reg. Looks like I need to get a Poseidon long hose if =
I go Hogarthian.

Thanks/Anker

When I had wisited the apeks factory I saw only one size of lp hoose. =
The=20
"oversized" outlets is a marketing ploy to give people the same look as=20
other brands. Apkeks probably kows that this is only an imaginary=20
problem, (they have the machines to test) so the use only one size of=20
hoose, boy with different threads.

The way to get around this is to order the DS4 first stage. I works the=20
same as the DST but you "loose" the oversized port and the unnessesary=20
turret with two extra o-rings. You gain is a more compact regulator. The =

turret is a bad way to correct the problems intruduced by opting for the =

non sandard LP-port.=20
