Who wrote this? NE Scuba, the dive shop, is in Danvers
Mass, near Salem Mass, the site of the witch hunt he refers
to. Carl gave this guy no information on WKPP, Gavin or
Casey. Parker died in 1991. Tennant helped once at a dive,
Carl never. Obviously , this guy thinks he is a big timer,
and is offended by tennant and carl, so has used lies about
JJ to get at me.
Just read this and notice what an officious , self
important guy we have here - a real big time diver. This guy
probably holds court all of the time, and sees himself as a
real expert. He knows everyone, and has been to Florida - he
just can't cut it with us, and thinks he should be leading
the charge - who is this ?
He must have a good reason for not using his own name -
so when somebody can get me that name, I can make that
reason come true.
I know most of you weenies do not like me, but JJ is not
me, and he does not deserve this bullshit. There are enough
of you that I have helped individually that you shold
consider returning the favor and letting me have this guy.
When I figure out who he is, we are going to track down
the misinformation and the lies, and deal with the source.
That is all I care about - some offended weenie in Boston
means nothing to me, the snake in the woodpile is who I
want. - G

Just to get your witch hunt over with, I really am a
Northeast wreck
diver. Aside from what I read on the mailing lists (does
anybody but
WKPP post to cavers any more?), my private source of info on
WKPP is
Carl Heinzl. I have talked to Carl on occasion, including
at a dive
shop which is very near to where the original witch hunt
took place.
I'm sure he means no harm to WKPP, but all he can talk about
back home
is being a member of the team, how he is on your private
"phreatic"
list, etc. When he came back from Florida, he was so proud
of all his
certifications from JJ, and was trying to get the local
divers to take
him along on some of the more challenging dives. We've seen
enough
bigshot cave divers get in trouble on Northeast wrecks that
we're not
about to let someone whose only qualification is being newly
cave, drysuit, and trimix certified out on a real dive.
The reason I have posted this stuff (aside from the sheer
joy of
sarcasm) is that I'm sick of stroke poster children like
Tennant
filling
techdiver and cavers with messages accusing others of being
what they
obviously are - superstrokes.
If you choose not to believe me, I don't give a shit; accuse
people on
your own team. The ones you will alienate are the Gavins
and Caseys
of
the world; you'll keep all the Tennants and Heinzls.
