HELP ?? Can you help with info on wrecks in your area? While my North American shipwreck database has now reached the new milestone of more than 63,000 records.... I may have missed some of the wrecks in your area. Whether you're an individual diver, a shop, club or charter, your assistance would be greatly appreciated in forwarding (snail mail preferred) details of wrecks about North America or the West Indies, etc. I'll ensure that your local wrecks are included in my database. I'd appreciate receiving any info including shipwreck charts or posters, shop/charter brochures, club newsletters, etc. or even a spare copy of a local diving guide. This will help to promote your area while helping to expand my database. Expansion: While my previous emphasis was placed on North American wrecks between the 40th degree North Latitude and the North Pole, this area is being expanded to encompass the entire North American continent. Search Options: This `freestanding' database can be searched by a choice of 12 options including NAME of vessel, YEAR/DATE of loss, Official number, AREA of loss (general and specific), COORDINATES, place built, builder, port of registry, owner, captain/master, etc. Each record lists references used. 1997 CD-ROM Version: In the near future (hopefully only a few weeks) copies of this database will be publicly available on CD-ROM for the first time.
