Maybe someone out there with knowledge of how European tank inspections are
done can help me out.  I'm an American living in Northern Italy and I have
my US tanks (Genesis tanks with 300-bar DIN manifold) with me.  My US
visual inspection has expired and I was told that I couldn't get my tanks
inspected in Italy because in Italy, you have to have a certificate from
the manufacturer.  Supposedly, they don't use the external tank markings. 
Now, was the person who told me this full of shit? Hopefully someone out
there from Italy can help me out. Thanks
