Aah. Its a terminology thing. You mean air to 170 with Nx deco. I've seen people swim into walls on air at 170 ft. Trimix is useful at that depth if you're doing anything more than cruising and looking. Doesn't change the deco much either. And it doesn't hammer your body. For training have a look at ANDI. It doesn't have the interminable levels (just one more course and you're nearly there) like the other organisations. Just Intro Nx, Technical Nx, Extended Range, and Trimix. The standards and procedures are written locally to comply with local conditions and OHS regulations. At least they are in Aus. Maybe its the same in Canada. I like ANDI for the refreshing lack of bullshit.
