According to some info on another list I subscribe to, Roger Huffman of
NC is still kicking. According to a newspaper article that was posted,
the R. Huffman in the KEYS was some idiot who after using 7 tanks of air
and diving for 7-9 hours straight at depths in excess of 90 fsw suddenly
fell ill after returning to the boat in the evening. According to the
article he a his buddy did not have radio on board and had to find
another boat to call the coast guard for them. When the coast guard
arrived he admitted he had not be diving safely and was taken to the
chamber where he died. I wish I still had the post of the article. He
sounded like a candidate for the Darwin award for those of you familiar
with that "honor".
