John Chluski, Thank you for your comments. I chose to omit certain details from my original post for two reasons. First, to notify the agency and give a chance for the wheels of bureaucracy to respond. And second, so as not to spin the story in anyone's mind with regard to affiliations, agencies, etc. I'm sorry you felt insulted. If my account is at all accurate, where's the insult? If it's not, then I'm just a liar. Still no insult. In any event, I'm not sure how my post would insult divers? By the way, I did receive several private replies from SFL dive store owners, none of whom mentioned feeling insulted or slighted in any way. Some were agitated, several acknowledged my diplomacy in not naming names. All wished to distance themselves from this type of business practice and invited me to come visit and see their professional run operations. As to my limited experience in SFL, that's the whole point. The area has the reputation of being the founders and constantly in the forefront of the nitrox community. For my first experience in the area, this was very different from what I came expect. I purposely omitted any affiliations or references, names, etc. I admit to pontificating. I'm not sure I see where the prejudice is. I appreciate your implications with regards to my diving acumen (blush, blush.) The treatment I received has nothing to do with diving experience or expertise (I'm not sure I mentioned any.) The events speak for themselves. With regards to your final request, thank you for your kind offer, but I respectfully decline.
