As gas, including inert gas like Nitrogen, gets dissolved in liquid the
molecules become more 'ordered'. The proportional increase in order as gas
increases to dissolve is known as Iceberg Theory. These Icebergs are found
in liquids such as the proteins in the nervous system, and prevent the
nervous system working as efficiently. As such Iceberg Theory relates to
Narcosis. Hope this helps. Has anyone read the solo diving book by the same
publisher (tastless pink cover) ?

I have just read 'Deep Diving' and in one of the early chapters which, if
I
recall correctly, you wrote, you mention the 'Iceberg Theory'. This
totally lost me, could you explain further please.
