The reason you look for bubbles is to check the accuracy of your tables. If you have pushed your decom, more bubbles. No bubbles and you are either OK or your stops are too long. There is some argument as to validity of this correlation as this measures only the gas in your blood stream, not the gas trapped in tissues, but it is better than nothing.
