One day, when I get my rebreather, I'll hope that the bag and hoses are
made from material that is bacterial resistant and requires minimal
maintanance. The inner bladder of my BC (A Buddy commando) is made from
such a material. I rinse it out after a diving session with nothing more
than warm water and I am quite happy to breathe from it when practicing,
or sucking it empty to make it take up minimal space for packing for travel.

In any case, what would be wrong with dunking it in something like Milton
(baby bottle sterilising solution) or ChemproSDP (UK homebrew cleaner &
steriliser - not available in the US that I've seen)

Are there gonig to be rebreather classes? Do you think that people will
get together and form a syndicate to buy a rebreather between them? If I
buy a rebreather, I'd appreciate a class with my own unit and not a demo
one!

Gordon
