We have switched to Sherwood Maximus for use at McMurdo Station.
Although I still have about 20 Cyclons in the dive locker nobody uses
them. At Palmer Station (H2O temp around 30F) the Poseidons work fine
and in fact that is what I use there. I do not even bother to use the
environmental cap. All regulator failures we have are due to freeflow.
Primarily due to second stage freeze up.

The ARA Bahia Paraiso sank about a mile from Palmer Station back in 1990.
She lies on her starboard side. A small section of the hull is just
awash at mid to low tides. The bottom at the bow is at about 60 fsw and
at the stern is about 80 fsw. The ship is rolling and breaking up a bit
more each year.
