When I first subscribed to this list, I had hoped that it would be the place for a neophyte tech wannabe to learn the proper gear configuration and to learn how not to make the mistakes that others had made. Turns out that it is if you can separate the bullshit from the good stuff. That's not hard to do either if you move the cotton around a bit and read between the lines. While I'll never hold the end of the line in Wakulla, I'm a better diver today due to the insights provided from some very good experiencd divers that don't mind sharing the wealth. Rec.scuba is the place for fun, this is the place to get serious, although cavers and tech sure provide some gut busters too.
