I have only known you for a short period of time, but because your
reputation precedes you, I take the liberty of bringing this item to your
attention in the hope you are able to render some assistance.
Under separate e-mail, I have transmitted three messages that evidence my
contention.
These are postings from WKPP. I am sure you are aware of the denigrating,
insulting language being used in the techdiver newsgroup; it is something
expected in most similar forums (although its abundance here is staggeirng!).
Is NOAA in any way connected to WKPP ? If not, what government agencies are ?
It is my understanding when the Director issues a statement and signs
"Director XYZ",
he or she is stating OFFICIAL POLICY of such a group or project and
represents, not only the entire group of workers, but also reflects on
associates; be it government agencies or private enterprises that support,
permit, endorses or in any way are related to such group or project.
I would like to know what government agencies endorse, support, and/or
condone the barrage of insults and vulgar profanity the director of WKPP
issues on a DAILY basis. Also, is the use of any public funds involved;
whether directly on equipment or indirectly in in-kind services or otherwise.
What agency head or manager tolerates being associated with this ? Is this
project on public lands ? Is the underground considered public land ?
I would like to know who can be approached to resolve this situation. Many
persons in search for bring legitimate questions related to the WKPP
activity, only to be verbally abused (some answer back making the issue a
tennis match of insults!). I am not going to expand on the futility of these
arguments, nor the dissappointment for whoever asked the question, nor their
lack of desire to ever ask again!
I want to address exclusively the issue of someone speaking or writing on
behalf of a project in ANYWAY connected to OUR government. Let the private
supporters respond as they deem appropiate with the issue. If you are not in
a position to provide assistance in search for these answers, could you
please point in the direction of persons, offices or agencies involved where
I could find responses ?
