The text below describes the purpose and focus of the ECODIVER list.

---------- Forwarded message ----------
The ECODIVER list is for divers interested in the underwater
environment as a habitat, or ecoweb.

What can be done to protect it?

What can be done to restore it?

What can *you* do to make a difference?

Any subject that touches on aquatic ecosystems is fair game, from real
estate development to dangling gauges to underwater cleanups to
species identification.

Freshwater, saltwater, coldwater, warmwater, stillwater, fastwater,
it's all important.

How? Where? Who? Why? These are the questions about the underwater worlds
we visit that we, as divers, need to address.

This is a moderated list, so posts about solo diving, pressure
equalization, and training agencies will not appear unless they have
real bearing on issues concerned with environmental diving.

If you're concerned about the state of the aquatic ecosystem, you
should join in the discussion.

I hope to see you there.

John H-C
