There is a reference of a type 1 dcs hit to a a patient given nitrous oxide as a general anesthetic in a routine surgical procedure. This was 4 weeks after the patients most recent dive. The incident occured in Australia . (J. Lippmann, "Deeper into Diving", p.53). Regards, 6
