FWIW, I just returned from Florida where I completed my Full Cave class with JJ. I haven't taken a class from every instructor in the world, so I don't know if JJ is the best or not. He is certainly the best instructor I have ever had the priviledge of taking a class with. During our week at the springs, I saw many of the other instructors that I have been reading about in these posts for several years. I'm glad I wasn't training with any of them. JJ made the class fun, he taught us a lot, worked us hard, and was completely in control at all times. He knows how to be there for you without you ever seeing him on the dive. And above all, he is just a really nice guy. I'd gladly recommend him for any training needs that you may have. I sincerely hope that JJ is voted in as Training Director. Under his leadership, I can't help but believe that things would be improved tremendously. I'd like to also publicly thank George for all the help in setting up my equipment for the class. Everything about my rig came from what I have learned from the Internet (we don't have any doubles in Nebraska <G>) and I was set up better than 99% of the people we saw. Actually, I can't think of anyone else that we saw outside the class that George would be willing to dive with. I am amazed that people don't take a clue and set themselves up like the best in the business. It only makes good sense. Thanks again to JJ and George!
