I will be using this in dives >upto 150' in Lake Erie and Lake Huron. > The "Zeagle Tech 50D" is the same as the older model from Apex the T50D. Made in England with a Zeagle logo. The current Apex TX50 has a heatexchanger to reduce freezing, and is sold with a turret first stage. Apart from that I dont know of any differences. The first stage is a balanced dry sealed membrane regulator. And the second stage is allso balanced. For those who like convetional looking regulators, this is a good buy, but the T50D is rather prone to 2nd stage freezing, allthough not as bad as U.S. Divers/Spiro ones. I have heard that a second stage in the Buchat line is very similar. The T50D and the TX50 has two 2nd stage adjustment available. One venturi lever and one cracking pressure knob. regards /Sten
