Subject: RE: : DECOM

Reminds me of a couple of stories I heard a little while ago. Two newly
certified mix divers carrying out their first mix dive since being on the
course. Apparently they planned everything correctly, the dive was going to
plan etc etc. Until they took their first glance at their tables (towards the
end of the dive) and found the text had disappeared! They managed to finish
the dive, deco and all, without injury. Once at the surface the text
reappeared again!

Turns out they had printed the tables in green ink for some reason.

Another similar story, involved the newly certified mix diver, who inspected
his tables towards the end of the dive to see the text disintegrating before
his eyes.

Turns out he used water soluble ink of all things.

Makes you kind of wonder doesnt it.

Best regards
Lawrence.

If you want to be creative, you can also use different colors for the print
to show gas switches. I use a highliter to identify my gas switch pionts.

Tim Urbanski

PS- I also keep a back-up copy of the schedule on duct tape on my light.
