Subject: RE: What hoses with a Full Face Mask?
Date: Wed, 13 Nov 1996 23:52:27 -0500
Hi Egil,
I am from Kingston also and dive the year round here. As the water gets =
colder I just move farther up the river. In order to suggest an optimum =
set up for you, what is your current tank(s) setup?

I have dual LP 95's w/ an isoloated Sherwood manifold. I use Posiden =
first stages, one Jetstream(backup) and an Aga FFM (primary) this time =
of year. Because of the way the Aga's reg feeds from the left, I attach =
it to the first stage on the left post. The Jetstream on the long hose =
goes on the right post. I have all the hoses on both first stages =
attached so they point down ward. The short hose on the FFM goes over my =
left shoulder and the long hose (7') goes down behind my right shoulder, =
just underneath my waist mounted Spectrum 14 light, diagonally across =
the front of my body from right to the left side of my neck and around =
so that it hangs by the right side of my neck, where I have never had a =
problem with it dislodging or being in the way. Some people prefer to =
carry their spare mask in a pouch on the waist, but I like to wear mine =
reversed around my neck.

I hope this was of some help.
Dan

Subject: What hoses with a Full Face Mask?

Hi,

It's getting cold in the water up here, and it's time for the full face
mask (I'm using a Cressi-sub). So I'm wondering if some of you cold =
water
divers have some thoughts on what a good set up should look like. It
would be nice to include the long hose somehow (on the back up reg?), =
but
I don't quite see how it can be done without stuffing it in the process!

Where do you place the back up reg, how is it attached, and how long is
the hose on it?

Thanks in advance.=20
