I am currently in the process of creating the "Doing it Right" web page. It is, essentially, George's video in HTML format. I have taken images from the videotape and made JPEG's from them. The dialogue from the video will be appropriately edited and flowed with the images. In addition, some of the smaller points will be adressed, and will include detailed diagrams of the harness weaving, O/B discharge, stage bottle attachment, etc. I will also include a section on equipment recommendations (i.e. makes and models), and the reasons behind these choices. I am also making an attempt to fill in some of the gaps in the video, including things like open water gear and the correct way to rig ScubaPro 1sts, etc. If the video of George's seminar on Sunday turns out, that could be extremely useful. There are a couple of reasons why it's taking so long: the video images need to be edited for clarity (i.e. dithering, brightness and contrast changes), some of the images I'm reproducing to get clearer photos, and am using a digital camera to avoid clarity lost through scanning. I'm also trying to find a server that will accomodate the number of hits expected. Look for the announcement about the middle of December (I'm also a very busy person). Any comments or suggestions for the page would be welcomed. -Sean
