Speaking of long hoses, another example of why you should breathe off your
long hose and out of gas divers should take the hose from the mouth, was
played out this weekend in Queensland Australia.A diver ran out of gas on
ascent and approached his 'buddy', he couldn't find his octopus so did an
emergency ascent and embolised and died at the surface. Perhaps if he'd been
trained to take the reg from his 'buddys' mouth he may have lived at least
one dive longer.
