George has not seen the IANTD video yet but will next week. We redid it
as it was too long (over two hours) it now fits into two hours.
It features:
1. A short theory lecture(20 minutes)
2. Two configurations by Tom Mount (both feature breathing the long
hose) one is a hogarth method. the other is a hose tucked into the side
of the backplate method for those who simply do not like to wrap the
hose.This is
true often of shorter people or guys/ girls who just have a hangup
about wrapping hoses. It also works for those few individuals who
insist on using hoses longer than 7 feet. It addressed real world
problems.
3. An offshore configuration by Billy Deans this has a hogarth
foundation but includes EMERGENCY equipment etc life EPIRB's etc.
4.. The WKPP version of the Hogarth system by Jarrod Jablonski
5. Stage cylinder rigging by Larry Green, at first we had it by Larry,
JJ and myself but as they were all similar we settled on the one by
Larry
6. Side mount configuration by Lamar Hires

It also deals with various light configurations; primarily waist/hip
mount, buttmount, and backplate mounting

It is an overall technical diving equipment config video adaptable to
cave , wreck and OW
The video contains a statement which underscores the philosophy of what
we think safe configuration is all about it is as follows:

1. Avoid strict adherence to GURUS who claim only one setup works ,
but listen to each one of the messages proclaimed by these people

2. The information each has is of benefit, it has been developed
through practical experience

3. Evaluate the strong points from each system and select the best
segments from each to incoporate into your own system

4. Be an individual, because: -it is your safety , your life, your
comfort
Be prudent, be responsible, be open minded and:

TAKE THE TIME TO DO IT RIGHT

Tom Mount
