Rich.  You're right!  The only cock-up with the electrolung was in user
ignorance!! It's like all technology.  The driver has to be of sufficient
intelligence to use it. 

Now if you really want to know about *specifically* fatal designs!!!  Take a
look at 'Deep Diving & Submarine Operations',  by Sir Robert H Davis.
Chapter 4.  Therein lie some good'uns!!
