Plus the extra hang time will probably help reduce DCI. Another method I
have used is to look at total time to surface upon leaving the bottom, add
the deep stops, then use the computer as a timer from there sticking to the
total ascent time you got and doing the rest in your head - last few times I
used that Fibonaci thing George mentioned. This works fine with my Alladin
pro for ocean dives on air. What is DCI anyway- I dived with some guys this
weekend who wore no BC and only singles, did 16 mins at  200ft and then only
15 - 20 mins deco(with deep stops)and only 2 bends symptoms out of 10 dives.
Stupid safety conscious me dived with twins, did 25 at 200 and lots more
deco than them.
