Another theory for scooter/shark responses. Supposed: shark would only normally come after you 'cause it either wants food or wants to protect territory from other members/competing preds. But -- you aren't normal the food source -- and you aren't another shark. Why do they, therefore, come at you while you scooter? That damned thing makes you the turd in the punchbowl. They're prob'ly pissed because your Tekna Boom-box is *scaring all the goddam food away*!!!! They just want you to shut up and turn that thing OFF! Fits with experiences mentioned.
