As a new subscriber,I also have been concerned with exactly the same
things. It is amazing how much ego is out there. It is in my estimation
that there is no room for ego in technical diving. There is room however
for attitude. There are certain people in the forum, they know who they
are, that should reference these terms in the Oxford dictionary.
Egotists are nothing but a menace and in the end do nothing but damage
to their own reputations.
