[This message is converted from WPS-PLUS to ASCII] divers beware, i recently sent in my drysuit to have the neoprene neck and wrist seals replaced with latex seals. i called DUDAS' DIVING DUDS and was quoted $40 for labor and $40 for the seals. sounded okay, so i sent it in. when i got the bill, guess what -- it was $130. for $130, i would not have bothered. i would have put the money in a cookie jar to get my tls-350. kind of ironic that it happened right after she told me she was having cash flow problems. when i called, of course they told me that $80 was only for wrist of neck, but not both. they claimed i misunderstood. bullshit. i understood perfectly. they basically fucked me. this is not the first time they did this. when i asked for a price for an aladin pro battery kit, i was told $30. when it arrived, it was $35. for $5, i wasn't going to sweat it. for $50, i am pissed. basically, my recommendation is to not send her any business. i have sent her a bunch of business and was disappointed that she fucked me. if you decide you must send work to her, ask for a signed quote before you give them your gear. scott landon
