Grandma, the "Petty" person, probably a fake (this is why Todd asked for some
info on him), is complaining that we at WKPP do not think his unnamed way of
doing things is good, as good as, safe , or whatever euphamism he would like
applied to his methods - we don't care. He then went on to suggest how the NACD
should be operated. Elena Casson pointed out that "Petty" should become a
voting
member and exercise his voice, revealing that most of the big complianers are
not members of the organizations whose purpose is to further the sport they
chose to be involved in. They aslo fail to realize that the WKPP legitimizes
this activity without distinction between ourselves and the "Petty's" who
clearly are not contributing in any fashion, and whose sole appearances on here
have been to attack the one who has - typical. Again ,we don't care, but it is
an interesting note.

Right now, WKPP is the one and only organization that has supplied a platform
for scientific work going out for the next several years. Scientists need to
read that, and then remember what the others have done for them - nothing - not
now, not ever, and they never will - they don't care about that, we do.

Also, no amount of whinning , complaining, criticism, or posturing by these
people will alter the obvious - we are not in the gear-selling business, and
with the exception of Jablonski , we do little training outside of our own
organization. We only have one ax to grind : preservation of the resources, and
if that means driving dangerous strokery out of the picture by power of
example,
then so be it. The strokes are providing their own examaple, and losing market
share.
